Autumn Transitions, established in 2007, focuses on the needs of older adults and their families as they navigate through a complex maze of medical, psychological, legal and home care services and support for issues related to aging. I personally faced many challenges as a care manager and caregiver for over a decade for my parents and each of my husband’s parents. This legacy has resulted in a passionate desire to help others benefit from my experience, compassion and professional acumen.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and as a Certified Senior Advisor(CSA)®, I strive to adhere to the CSA Code of Professional Responsibility.
In addition I am a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and am guided in my work by the NAPGCM Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
I’ve spent over 20 years in Silicon Valley serving corporate and small business clients by helping them craft solutions to hard business problems. These solutions required a great deal of active listening, diplomacy, creative thinking, rapt attention to minute details and tactical support to achieve objectives in a timely and cost efficient manner. These skills are all ingrained, and have been combined with almost a decade of professional geriatric care management experience to provide me with the tools to help you and your loved one navigate through the next weeks, months or years.
